Masqueraders originated in Nigeria, Africa.  They are used there for a variety of occasions. They perform for entertainment on St. Croix.  They dance in costume wearing a mask so that their identities are not reveled. Masquerading is done with delight  on St. Croix, usually during Christmas, New Years, Easter, and July third.

The card makes a beautiful gift  and can be framed. The card and envelope is an ivory color.

The size is 5 1/2"  by 7" . Outside is a masquerader and the word St. Croix. Inside you can write your own personal message.  No two cards are alight, just like the masqueraders each one is  made different made from different scarps of material.  Therefore when you order one there will be a masquerader on it but its' attire will be different.  Start a collection it could be fun and a great conversation piece.
